Decorated in the living room of my family’s house, objects of wondrous admiration that caused questions. Wooden and carved with much effort, how could we drink from them? They had travelled through the Indian Ocean, crossed the Suez Canal and reached the living room of an Aegean island. Then, they reached the living room of my own house as a dowry, and they continued to remind me of the exotic images that were provoking the same feelings to me as in my childhood.
